When your doctor has already given you a list

When your doctor has already given you a list

A lot of people arrive at a meal service having already been told what to do. A doctor or a dietitian has given them a list — more protein, less refined carbohydrate, go easy on the oil, more fibre, watch the sodium. The advice is not the problem. Doing it three times a day for months is.

What we are, and what we are not

We are a kitchen. We are not qualified to diagnose anything, we will not tell you to stop taking something, and we will not claim our food treats a condition. Please stay with the person who is actually managing it.

What we can do is cook to the brief. Send us what you have been told and we will be straight with you about how much of it we can realistically hit inside our portion profiles — and where we cannot.

The things we get asked most

  • Lower refined carbohydrate, more fibre — usually manageable
  • Measured oil, and told what it was — we already weigh it
  • Higher protein without heavier food — usually manageable
  • A specific sodium or potassium target — usually not, and we will say so

Why a small kitchen helps here

Two people cook everything we send. That means your note is not a field in a system somebody may or may not read — it is something Deepshikha knows while she is cooking. It is the one thing a kitchen doing thousands of boxes a day genuinely cannot offer.
